About

Patrick McCabe does campaign media and civic deliberation — photography, digital ads, outreach, structured public dialogue. He thinks they’re the same project: getting people to stop performing and engage with what’s actually in front of them.

He grew up in Independence, Minnesota — a small conservative town twenty miles west of Minneapolis. It gave him an early read: the divide is real, but the gap isn’t as wide as both sides make it.

He’s drawn to candidates who take their constituents seriously and organizations willing to do the harder work. Most of it lives at the same edge: where a campaign decides whether to broadcast or actually listen, where a community decides whether to argue in circles or turn disagreement into a plan.

That’s the work. Making space for honest politics.
