Before the photos and the video, there’s the field. Patrick has spent four cycles doing the work campaigns are actually built on: knocking doors, making calls, planting signs, and showing up wherever the candidate needed hands.
At the door
Door-knocked newly redrawn neighborhoods in Independence and Maple Plain, introducing Rep. Kristin Robbins to constituents meeting her for the first time. Canvassed the Lake Minnetonka chain for Kathleen Fowke, talking through the issues voters raised in a district that could go either way.
On the phone
Thousands of calls and voter-outreach texts across campaigns, from first contact to get-out-the-vote.
In the party
Worked alongside party delegates and volunteers through caucus and convention season.
On the ground
Delivered and planted yard signs across Minnetrista, Mound, Orono, Spring Park, Independence and Maple Plain. Walked parades. Helped mentor conservative high schoolers through Rep. Robbins’ Build the Bench program.
Why it shows in the visual work
The camera goes where the field work already went. Knowing a district door by door is what makes the photographs and town films look like the place, not a backdrop.
